On Thursday, June 11th, hundreds of women and men will join together to help fight cancer and run one of the most beautiful sunset race courses in Maine at the Twilight 5K.
Running to Help the Fight Against Cancer:
Hosted on the breathtaking Southern Maine Community College campus in South Portland, this inspirational event is open to individuals and teams. Each runner commits to a fundraising minimum of $120 to fight cancer, although many individuals raise much more. (Your registration fee will be counted toward your fundraising total.)
Walk or Run:
The Twilight 5K is a chip-timed race, but you are welcome to run, walk or stroll! What matters most is we're doing our part to help the men and women of Maine in their fight against cancer.
What's a Race without Party?
The Twilight 5K finishes with a live music, awards, a pizza party generously donated by our sponsors and a beer tent provided by with Shipyard Brewing Company.
With prizes, food, live music and an unbeatable view, the Twilight 5K is a fantastic way to enjoy a summer evening- and support the work of Maine Cancer Foundation, providing grants for cancer research and patient impact programs across Maine.
