Yes. There is a fundraising minimum of $100. Why? Because this is a fundraising mission. Your registration fee covers the cost of your event expenses. This maximizes the impact of your fundraising dollars on our goal - funding prevention, screening and patient support programs.
Fundraising prizes will be awarded based on your personal total as of 5pm on June 5, 2019.
The matching gifts process is initiated by the donor who contacts his/her company’s human resources department for paperwork and/or procedures. The matching gift information is then sent by the donor or company to Maine Cancer Foundation ([email protected]) for validation and credit to the participant’s fundraising efforts.
No. Children not in a stroller will need to be registered with parental permission, and accompanied by an adult during the race. As a reminder, children 14 and under are not required to fundraise.
Online registration will close Wednesday, June 5 at 5pm. Participants can also register at the event on race day, but will still need to meet the $100 fundraising requirement on top of the registration fee.
Yes. Anyone who is pushing a jog stroller will be put towards the back of the pack in order to avoid any collisions or traffic jams with other runners. Strollers are also allowed on the walk course as well.
